first painting in months!

First Painting I've done in months and just as I've finally got settled into my new flat. Hoping to continue and buy some more canvas and try something with a bit more detail.

Not sure where the idea stemmed from but it was supposed to be of some kind of warrior, feeling the pain of all the sins and atrocities he may of committed in his life during battle. Or he could be on the brink of dying in battle.

Tried to capture an 'in the moment' kinda look, I started off using charcoal to sketch it out then went over in acrylics. Didnt turn out too badly! Also, hi Niall! (as I know you will be the only person to actually read this)
